TERMS AND DEFINITIONS
Website - website registered under Publixo.com domain, intended for publishing of literary works. This site is owned and operated by Creative Media, located at Hubala 1B/3, 71-298 Szczecin, Poland.
Account – user profile containing his contact details stored in the Publixo.com database
User - a natural or legal person which has an active account on this site.
REGISTRATION AND ACCOUNT
- Registration involves completing an online form:
http://www.publixo.com/user_form/1
requiring the following information
- a valid e-mail
- country of residence
- username (login)
- password
- By registering, you fully agree to be bound by all terms and conditions of this agreement.
- Any account not used for longer than 12 months since your last login can be removed, after informing user about this fact with two weeks in advance.
- In case of violation of these Regulations by user, or use the account for purposes not related to the profile of the service account will be locked (permanently or temporarily).
- User can request removal of his account, after contacting with the administration of the service. The administrator will consider the request within a few working days.
- User account which has previously been blocked due to violation of these Terms, can not be removed.
PROTECTION AND PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA
- Registered e-mail addresses are used only for purposes related to the website administration. Publixo.com therefore does not collect personal data within the meaning of the Act of August 29, 1997 on the protection of personal data (Journal of Laws No 133, item 883 with later amendments) and Act of 18 July 2002 on electronic services (Journal of Laws No 144, item 1204).
- User's data are not sold, or disclosed to any third parties without his consent. We may share your personal information with law enforcement or other governmental officials, in response to a verified request relating to a criminal investigation or illegal activity (e.g. spam, flood, abuse, trolling etc.)
- Creative Media will make every effort to ensure proper operation of Publixo.com, as well as to the safety data contained in our databases.
COPYRIGHT. RESTRICTIONS ON USE
- Using all the options of the website is free of charge.
- Each registered user has the right to publish texts on the Website (literary works, news, forum, comments).
- User can publish a maximum of two texts per day.
- Each text published in Publixo.com must meet the following requirements:
- User may only publish texts of his own. Publication of the texts to which user does not have a copyright is categorically prohibited .
- Texts should be prepared with due care, in accordance with the principles of linguistic correctness.
- Posting of vulgar, abusive, slanderous, racist or other hate and violating in any way the personal interests to third parties (including copyright) content is prohibited.
- The texts can contain images, provided that the copyright to them, that meet any of the following conditions:
- User is the sole author of the picture.
- User has consent to publish pictures on the Website.
- Copyrights to illustrations expired.
- Picture comes from a source (e.g. website with photos, clip art) which permits such use of the materials.
- News will be published after acceptation of the Website administration.
- Published content may not be commercial, advertising material.
- We reserve the right to remove content which do not comply with the above conditions or may adversely affect the image of the Website, without notice or sending user a statement of reasons.
- All content posted on the Website is protected by copyright. Copying and dissemination of it in any way is permitted only with the consent of their authors.
- Responsibility for any content posted on the Website lies solely with their authors.
- mBooks generated on Website are for personal use only. Commercial use (eg for sale) is prohibited.
TERMS OF USE
- Publixo.com reserves the right to modify the terms and conditions of this agreement at any time, informing users by indicating the date of last change at the beginning of the terms of Use.
- Lack of acceptance of the new rules will terminate the contract between the User and Publixo.com
- Any disputes or controversies arising from the present agreement shall be settled in accordance with the Polish law by common courts or the arbitration court. Should there be a lawsuit between Publisher and Author related to the terms of this agreement, the proper venue shall be in Szczecin, Poland.
